I’m so sorry for the late post, but I wanted to let you folks know that By Firelight is OUT OF HIATUS! Or… however you say that… 😀 It’s back!
It feels so good to be writing this story again. Chapter 21: Not Alone Anymore has been posted on multiple fanfiction archives, and I’ll update the page with the Story Links as soon as I’m done typing up this post. 😀
I also written a new Harry Potter one-shot based on the HBP movie, Flight of the Songbird, which so far, I’ve only posted on Fanfiction.net. I’m kinda waiting till I get a review there before I post it elsewhere. Don’t hate me! Be warned, though: It’s a sad story. I wrote it first thing in the morning on the day before I posted it, so I guess I was a bit depressed that morning. But fighting depression with writing is better than not fighting it, right? I think it’s much better. 🙂

In other, less-exciting-but-still-fun-news, I’m playing Hogwarts Extreme RPG again, and I re-uploaded my story there. I guess I’d either deleted it at some point and forgotten, or it got removed along with others as part of a major update. There have been a crazy lot of unimaginably awesome updates to HEX, and yes, I know I’m already going goofy over the place, but listen: I used to be a webmistress… Ever heard of a little ol’ Proboards forum known as Enchanting Hogwarts? Trying to move it to a non-Proboards site was my absolute, number-one HUGEST mistake EVER! ARGH! *deep breath* Okay… I’m calming down now… Anyway, if I ever managed to make, own, run, or even help moderate a site as graphically and technologically awesome as HEX, I would literally lose my mind with OMGness. 😀
That said, my username on HEX RPG is Rebecca Ripple, as usual, and yes, I’m in Hufflepuff. As you may have realized if you’ve been following me for a while, I registered there years ago, back in 2009. Now, I still love Hufflepuff House to bits, but these days, I’d rather be earning points for Ravenclaw. Hey, times change! My preferences get to change once in a while, too. Right? 😀 It’s not like I’m begging the admins to re-Sort me. And no, before you ask, I wouldn’t. I’m still a Hufflepuff at heart, at least partially. I just… really like Ravenclaw… 🙂
